Potential PhD students
You may be eligible for several programmes offering fully funded studentships, including BBSRC SWBio4, GW4 BioMed, and China Scholarship Council. Please contact me if you’d like to discuss applying for PhD projects through one of these programmes.
Postdocs
I would be very glad to support postdoctoral fellowship applications, so by all means get in touch if you’d like to discuss potential projects.
Many sources of external funding are available, including:
- Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship
- Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellowship (for UK degree holders or those based at a UK academic institution for at least 4 months prior to application deadline)
- Royal Society Newton International Fellowship (for non UK citizens based outside UK)
- Human Frontier Science Program Long-Term Fellowship (for those with a PhD in biology) and Cross-Disciplinary Fellowship (for those with a PhD from a non-biological discipline)
- EMBO Postdoctoral Fellowship (for those currently based outside the UK)
